
Christopher is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Providend Ltd, SEA’s 1st fee-only wealth advisory firm. He is also the Group Chief Executive Officer of Providend Holding Pte Ltd. He has almost three decades of experience in the wealth management and financial planning industry.

Christopher is often interviewed by both broadcast and print media on his views on personal finance and wealth matters. He writes a monthly column called ‘Money Wisdom’ on The Business Times.
Since the beginning of his career, Christopher has spoken to hundreds of entities and tens of thousands of people, educating them on personal financial planning issues. Christopher is also an internationally sought-after speaker in countries such as Indonesia, China, and Mauritius, where he spoke to policy makers in Mauritius Financial Services Commission on the strategic issues facing the wealth management industry. In 2024, he was invited by MorningStar China to deliver a keynote address during a conference in Guangzhou for the Chinese investment advisers.
Christopher received his Bachelor of Financial Services Degree with honours from the National University of Ireland. He also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from University of Warwick, which has one of the top business schools in the world. Professionally, Professionally, Christopher is a Certified Financial Planner since 2001 and an ikigai Tribe Coach. He sat on the Management Committee of Securities Investors Association (Singapore) (SIAS) from 2009 to 2017 and was reappointed in September 2022. In 2014, Christopher was appointed by the Singapore Government to be part of the CPF Advisory Panel. In June 2020, Christopher has also obtained the Advanced Certificate in Trust Services (ACTS) from Wealth Management Institute, Nanyang Technological University as well as the Certificate of International Trust Management from Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
In 2025, Christopher was conferred the IBF Fellow Award by the Institute of Banking and Finance in Singapore. The "IBF Fellow" is an industry veteran recognised for mastery and leadership in his/her profession, and commitment to industry development.
